Attendance

Option 1: PowerSchool Parent Portal 
Best for parents with an existing PowerSchool account. You can report attendance up to 5 days in the past and 30 days ahead of the current date.

1. Sign In: Log into PowerSchool.

2. Navigate: Select Attendance Monitor from the left-hand menu.

 

3. Report: Click the Report Attendance tab, then the Report New Attendance button

4. Details: Enter the Date (leave the second date blank for today only).
    

• Select a Reason from the drop-down menu.

• Select Yes/No for "Whole Day." (If No, enter the specific time range).

 

5. Explain: Enter a brief note in the Explanation box.

6. Submit: Click Submit.

Important Note

Option 2: Google Form (No Portal Account)
Best for parents who do not have a PowerSchool account yet or are having login issues.

• Lisenby Primary School: Lisenby Excuse From
• Mixon Intermediate School: Mixon Excuse Form
• D.A. Smith Middle School: DA Smith Excuse Form
• Carroll High School: Carroll Excuse Form

Important Note:

• If you use this form and utilize the "Upload" feature to attach a digital copy of the excuse, your documentation is complete. No further action is required.

• If you do not attach the excuse to this form, you must provide it via one of the following methods:

  • Email: Send a scan or photo to the attendance email listed below.

    • Lisenby Primary School: lpsattendance@ozarkcityschools.net

    • Mixon Intermediate School: misattendance@ozarkcityschools.net

    • D.A. Smith Middle School: dasattendance@ozarkcityschools.net

    • Carroll High School: chsattendance@ozarkcityschools.net

  • In Person: Drop the original off at the school’s front office.

Parents must have a PowerSchool account in order to be able to utilize Option 1.

• Provide each student/s first and last name
• Provide the email you would like linked to the account
